We believe that structured training is the gateway to success!

Understanding the urgent need for training, the new education & training committee appointed at the recent annual general meeting has set up an aggressive training calendar for the ensuing year.

The thought process is that a trained employee not only increases the value of the company that employs him, but in fact contributes to uplift the standards of the entire industry in the country.

Therefore a phased out educational & training programme has been launched not only for the greater Colombo area, but also for the main provinces where printing and packaging is vibrant. Some of these programmes have already been concluded very successfully.

The committee believes that a scientifically trained printing operative can increase quality awareness within his team while also increasing productivity and reducing machine down time and better use of printing consumables such as inks, plates etc.

The planned training programmes will take two forms; individual company training in proper operation and maintenance of a printing machine and correct use of consumables, or seminars open to the membership, both to be conducted by factory trained professionals.
