Inauguration

A VVIP Chief Guest will inaugurate the quadruple events of COLLATE 2012 at a formal ceremony in the company of the entire printer community at 9.00 A.M. on 23rd February 2012 at the Cinnamon Lakeside Hotel.

Conference

The SLAP believes that training forms the base of the strength in the industry and therefore arranges a conference segment to run concurrently; this time the professional sessions will revolve around sustainability for the industry through an export approach, and via focus on the environment and the human resource. The sessions will commence at 10.00 A.M. on 23rd February at the Kings’ Court, Cinnamon Lakeside hotel. Please register for participation by calling the SLAP Secretariat on 2472315.

Print Competition

Open to members only, the COLLATE 2012competition brings together some of the best commercial output in printing & packaging. Entries close on Tuesday 31st January 2012 and the judging process to be conducted by an international panel will take place confidentially on 17th and 18th January 2012.

Awards Night

The awards night is the high point of the event, where winners in 19 different categories will be felicitated. The overall winner will be crowned ‘SRI LANKA MASTER PRINTER’, a title that will be held over the next two years. The current holder of the honour is SOFTWAVE PRINTING & PACKAGING, who won the title for the second time in 2010. So if you plan to be at this gala event, hurry and reserve your seats now! The awards night is scheduled for 25th February 2012 at Waters Edge.

Print & Trade Exhibition

The concurrent print and trade exhibition will be inaugurated at 9.00 A.M. on 24th February 2012 at the Sri Lanka Exhibition & Convention Centre, and will go on till 26th February from 9.00 A.M. to 7.00 P.M. each day. On display will be all the entries received for the print competition, while the supplier community will demonstrate the latest in pre-print, printing and post printing technology to visitors.
